The Event Experience Committee is responsible for crafting an unforgettable evening that celebrates Texan culture and honors our Heroes. \nFocus Areas:\nMarketing and Outreach \n\nMarketing/Publicity (Darlene’s Team): Promotes the gala through social media\, press releases\, email campaigns\, and partnerships to attract attendees and donors.\nGuest Invitation and RSVP Committee: Manages invitations\, ticketing\, RSVPs\, and VIP outreach to ensure high attendance.\n\nEvent Experience \n\nDecorations and Theme: Designs the venue layout\, decorations\, lighting\, and thematic elements to create an immersive Texas250 atmosphere (e.g.\, historical motifs\, Texan culture).\nEntertainment and Program: Books performers\, speakers\, emcees\, and plans the evening’s agenda\, including any awards or presentations.\n\nOperations and Support \n\nLogistics/Operations: Manages venue setup\, audiovisual needs\, transportation\, parking\, and on-site coordination.\nVolunteer Coordination: Recruits\, trains\, and schedules volunteers across all areas.\nFinance and Budget: Tracks expenses\, income\, donations\, and ensures compliance with financial reporting.\nTechnology and AV: Handles event tech like registration apps\, bidding software\, live streaming\, and sound systems.\n\nPost-Event \n\nEvaluation and Follow-Up : Gathers feedback\, sends thank-yous\, analyzes results\, and plans for future events.\n\nWho It’s For: \nWhether you’re creatively inclined or love organizing meaningful experiences\, your vision will shape the night.
