SUMMARY:Memorial Day Lunch for our Veterans & Retired First Responders (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
DESCRIPTION:An Evening of Gratitude and Impact \n \n Henry’s Home invites you to the Texas250 Heroes and Hooves Salute\, an elegant black-tie gala honoring the service and sacrifice of Veterans\, Retired First Responders\, and their families. \n \n Texas is home to the nation’s largest Veteran community\, with 1.4 million Veterans. Harris and Montgomery Counties represent 20% of this population. In steadfast support of these heroes\, the Sanctuary is proud to serve 650 Veterans\, Retired First Responders\, and their families through transformative equine-assisted programs. \n \n Proven Results\, Lasting Impact \n \n Our equine programs deliver measurable outcomes. Independent data confirms a 40.9% reduction in depressive states and a 99% approval rating across all program facilitation. In addition to mental health support\, participants receive comprehensive life-skill training in ranch management and equine care through valued partnerships with Project Beacon and Inspiration Hope House. \n \n These programs foster healing\, resilience\, and the development of servant leadership — equipping participants to thrive and give back to their communities. \n \n Supporting Growth and Sustainability \n \n As demand for our services has grown dramatically — from serving fewer than 50 Veterans in the 2023–24 program year to a projected 1\,000 participants in the 2026–27 program year — the need for expanded staffing and horse care has become critical. Proceeds from this gala will provide essential funding to sustain and grow these vital programs. \n \n Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening \n \n The Texas250 Heroes and Hooves Salute offers an evening of distinction\, featuring [guest speakers\, live entertainment\, silent auction\, and networking opportunities with community leaders and philanthropists]. Together\, we celebrate those who have served while investing in their continued well-being. \n \n \n Event Details: \n \n Texas250 Heroes and Hooves Salute Black Tie Gala \n \n Date: November 12th \n \n Time: 6:30 pm \n \n Location: Madera Estates \n \n Tickets and Sponsorships Packet Available here. \n \n \n For sponsorship opportunities\, ticket information\, or to learn more about Henry’s Home\, Horse and Human Sanctuary programs\, please contact Sponsorship Committee Chair Royce Brooks\, royce.brooks@woodlandschamber.org. \n \n About Henry’s Home\, Horse and Human Sanctuary \n \n Henry’s Home\, Horse and Human Sanctuary is a premier equine-assisted facility in Conroe\, Texas\, dedicated to providing transformative mental health support and leadership development for Veterans\, Retired First Responders\, and their families. Through compassionate horse-human connections\, the Sanctuary fosters healing\, resilience\, and servant leadership.
