DESCRIPTION:This continuing education session is designed for volunteers to learn more about the health and wellbeing of our Program horses\, ensuring they are the best they can be for our Veterans and Retired First Responders. Dr. Melissa Hubble\, DVM\, will lead the session and select an informative veterinary topic relevant to our volunteers. \nIn addition to the featured topic\, the session will include a dedicated question-and-answer portion\, providing volunteers the opportunity to ask questions about the horses\, their care\, and overall herd health. \nThis educational experience is intended to deepen understanding\, build confidence\, and strengthen the support system surrounding our equine partners. \nWhat You’ll Gain \nParticipants will: \n\nGain practical knowledge to better support the health of our equine herd\nBecome more medically informed about the horses and their care\nEnhance their ability to contribute to the success and sustainability of our programs\n\nWho Can Attend? \nThis event is open to: \n\nVeterans\nRetired First Responders\nHenry’s Home Volunteers\n\nWe welcome those who are committed to learning and supporting the health\, wellness\, and success of our program horses.
