DESCRIPTION:At Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary\, our horses are at the heart of everything we do. This specialized training session is designed to equip our Equine Care Club Feed Team Volunteers with the knowledge\, consistency\, and confidence needed to provide exceptional daily care for our herd. \nDuring this training\, volunteers will participate in a comprehensive review of Henry’s Home’s established feed team procedures\, equine care standards\, and herd management protocols. The session is designed to ensure every volunteer understands the expectations\, best practices\, and safety measures that help maintain the health\, comfort\, and well-being of our horses. \nWhat You’ll LearnParticipants will receive guidance on:\n\nHenry’s Home Feed Team procedures and daily responsibilities\nEquine care directives and herd management protocols\nBest practices for maintaining the health\, safety\, and well-being of the herd\nWhat to start\, stop\, and continue within daily volunteer responsibilities\nCommunication standards that promote consistency across all Feed Teams\nSafety procedures that support both volunteers and horses\n\n\nThis training provides an opportunity to strengthen your skills\, ask questions\, and ensure every member of the Feed Team is working together to uphold the compassionate\, high-quality care that defines Henry’s Home. \nWho Can Attend?This training is exclusively for: \n\n\nApproved and certified Henry’s Home Equine Care Club Volunteers\nActive volunteers currently serving on a consistent Morning or Afternoon Feed Team\n\nRequirementsTo participate\, volunteers must:\n\nBe an approved and certified Henry’s Home Equine Care Club Volunteer.\nBe an active member of a consistent Morning or Afternoon Feed Team.\n\n\nWe appreciate your continued commitment to serving our horses with excellence. By participating in this training\, you help ensure our herd receives the consistent\, compassionate care that allows Henry’s Home to continue making a lasting impact on the lives of Veterans\, Retired First Responders\, and their families through the powerful horse-human connection. \nRegistration is required.
