Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary is excited to welcome the Grand Oaks Basketball Team back for a special morning of service, teamwork, and community connection!
This Volunteer Day brings together players, coaches, parents, and family members for a meaningful opportunity to give back through hands-on service at the sanctuary. Along the way, participants will learn more about Henry’s Home and our mission to support Veterans, Retired First Responders, and their families through meaningful horse-human connections and equine-assisted learning experiences.
What to Expect
Throughout the morning, volunteers will work together on a variety of projects that support the care, upkeep, and daily operations of Henry’s Home. Activities may include:
- Ranch beautification and grounds projects
- Organizing and maintaining supplies
- Light maintenance and improvement projects
- Seasonal sanctuary tasks
- Other hands-on projects based on the sanctuary’s current needs
This is a great opportunity for the Grand Oaks Basketball Team community to put teamwork into action beyond the court. By serving side by side, participants can strengthen connections, support our sanctuary, and make a meaningful difference for the community we serve.
Important Registration Information
- All participants must register through VolunteerHub and complete the required liability waiver before attending.
- Participants under 18 years of age must have the required waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian prior to participating.
We Look Forward to Welcoming You!
We are grateful for the Grand Oaks Basketball Team’s continued partnership with Henry’s Home. We look forward to another memorable morning of service, teamwork, and giving back together at the sanctuary!
