Thank you for choosing to spend your Volunteer Day with us! Your time and energy will make a meaningful difference in caring for our horses, maintaining our sanctuary, and supporting our mission of serving Veterans, Retired First Responders, and their families.
What to ExpectDuring your Volunteer Day, the Insperity Retirement Services team will have the opportunity to work together on hands-on projects that support the care, upkeep, and daily operations of Henry’s Home.Volunteer activities may include:
- General ranch and sanctuary projects
- Assisting with horse care
- Property maintenance and beautification
- Organizing and supporting sanctuary operations
- Other projects based on the current needs of Henry’s Home
No previous horse experience is required. Our team will provide instructions, guidance, and support throughout the volunteer experience to help ensure a safe, welcoming, and rewarding day.
What to Bring & WearPlease come prepared for outdoor ranch activities with:
- Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work
- Closed-toe shoes appropriate for working around horses
- A reusable water bottle
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as a team!
- Create a VolunteerHub account
- Complete the required Henry’s Home volunteer waiver
- Register for the Insperity Retirement Services Volunteer Day through VolunteerHub
Completing these steps in advance will help ensure a smooth check-in and allow your team to make the most of your time at the sanctuary.
