Volunteer ActivitiesDuring your Day of Caring, participants will work together on hands-on projects that support the ongoing care and upkeep of Henry’s Home.Activities may include:
- Sanctuary improvement projects
- Landscaping and grounds work
- Special projects
- Other service activities based on the sanctuary’s current needs
Registration Is RequiredEvery participant must register in advance. Each attendee must create a Henry’s Home volunteer profile and complete all required registration and waiver forms before arriving at the sanctuary.
Please note that on-site registration is not available. Anyone who arrives without a completed volunteer profile and the required registration will not be able to participate that day.
Identification & Waiver RequirementsPlease review the following requirements carefully before your visit:
- A government-issued photo ID is required for Family Waivers.
- For individual registrations, an ExxonMobil employee badge may be accepted if it includes a photo and the participant’s name matches their registration.
- Important: An ExxonMobil employee badge cannot be used in place of the required government-issued photo ID for a Family Waiver.
Youth Participants
- Children must be at least 13 years old to participate in the Day of Caring.
- Each participating child must have a completed Family Waiver accompanied by the required government-issued photo ID.
- Henry’s Home can accommodate up to 100 vehicles for this event.
- Carpooling is not required, although participants are welcome to carpool if they prefer.
