Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary is excited to welcome the ExxonMobil Deepwater team for a meaningful Day of Caring filled with service, teamwork, and community impact.We are grateful to have your team join us and dedicate your time and energy to supporting our sanctuary and the programs that serve Veterans, Retired First Responders, and their families.
Your Day of CaringThis special volunteer experience gives the ExxonMobil Deepwater team an opportunity to step away from the everyday, work together, and make a hands-on difference at Henry’s Home.
Volunteer projects will support the ongoing care and upkeep of the sanctuary and may include:
- Mucking stalls and paddocks
- Cleaning and refilling water troughs
- Landscaping and ranch cleanup
- Light maintenance projects
- Other projects based on the sanctuary’s current needs
Every project, big or small, helps us maintain a welcoming environment for our horses and the people who participate in our equine-assisted learning programs.
What to Expect
- No previous horse or ranch experience is necessary, and there is no riding involved.
- Upon arrival, the Henry’s Home team will provide an orientation and instructions to help everyone participate safely and confidently. Our staff will guide your group throughout the volunteer activities.
- After the service projects are complete, time will be reserved for horse interaction, giving your team an opportunity to slow down, connect, and experience a special part of Henry’s Home.
