Team members from Guyana and other Wells organizations will come together for a hands-on volunteer experience supporting the daily care, maintenance, and ongoing needs of the sanctuary.
About the Volunteer DayThis Day of Caring gives the ExxonMobil Wells Team an opportunity to work side by side outside of the workplace while making a meaningful difference at Henry’s Home.
Volunteers will assist with projects that help maintain a safe and welcoming sanctuary for our rescued horses and support our continued programs serving Veterans and Retired First Responders.
Volunteer assignments will be organized based on the current needs of the sanctuary as well as the abilities of participants, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
Volunteer ActivitiesProjects may include:
- Grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Special sanctuary projects
- Equine care and essential ranch chores
- Facility organization and support
- Other projects based on the needs of Henry’s Home
What to Know Before You ArriveVolunteers should come prepared for outdoor, hands-on work and wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
The Henry’s Home team will provide necessary project instructions and safety guidance onsite to help ensure a safe and productive volunteer experience.
Required WaiversAll volunteers must complete the required Henry’s Home waivers before participating in the Day of Caring. Please follow any additional registration or event instructions provided prior to your arrival.
