Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary is thrilled to welcome Girl Scout Troop 118108 of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto County for a special day of learning, service, and connection at the sanctuary!
We’re excited to share the Henry’s Home experience with your scouts and provide opportunities to learn more about our horses, contribute to meaningful ranch projects, and discover how the horse-human connection supports Veterans and Retired First Responders.
What You May Be DoingDuring your time at Henry’s Home, scouts may have the opportunity to participate in activities such as:
- Learning about our horses and how they partner with us in programs serving Veterans and Retired First Responders
- Contributing to our rock garden and birdhouse project
- Meeting and spending time with our horses
- Learning more about the mission and everyday life at Henry’s Home
Activities will be based on the needs of the sanctuary and designed to create a fun, educational, and meaningful experience for the troop.
What to Expect
- No previous horse experience is required. The Henry’s Home team will supervise activities and provide guidance throughout the visit.
- Activities are designed to be age-appropriate for scouts ranging from Daisy (Kindergarten) through Cadette (6th/7th grade).
- Pants appropriate for ranch activities
- Closed-toed shoes
- Comfortable clothing suitable for being outdoors
- Please do not wear sandals, flip-flops, or sleeveless tops.
- Everyone attending—including scouts and adults—must register in advance.
- To help us prepare appropriately for your group, we are unable to accommodate on-site registration on the day of the visit. Please make sure every participant and accompanying adult is registered before arriving.
