Henry’s Home Horse and Human Sanctuary is excited to announce its participation in two upcoming events designed to connect with the community and share its mission of providing healing and support for veterans and retired first responders. The sanctuary will be part of the Montgomery County Home and Outdoor Living Show on March 1 & 2, 2025, at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center in Conroe, and the Cy-Fair Home and Outdoor Living Show on March 22 & 23, 2025, at the Berry Center of Northwest Houston, Barker Cypress Road in Cypress. Admission to both shows is free, and attendees are encouraged to visit the Henry’s Home Sanctuary booth to learn more about their impactful work.
Henry’s Home exists as a unique haven where veterans, retired first responders, and horses come together to heal and grow. Through equine-assisted learning programs, the sanctuary offers transformative experiences that improve mental and emotional well-being, foster trust, and build community. Since 2014, Henry’s Home has been dedicated to enriching lives by connecting people and horses in meaningful ways.
Learn About Equine-Assisted Healing
At the shows, visitors will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Henry’s Home Sanctuary who will share the profound impact of their programs such as Gallant Strides for Healing, their Men’s and Women’s Groups, and Gratitude Gardens. Guests can explore how equine-assisted learning helps participants cope with PTSD, build confidence, and find renewed purpose.
Additionally, those passionate about making a difference can learn about volunteer opportunities and how to support sanctuary programs. The booth will feature personal stories of transformation, informational materials, and ways for attendees to get involved in supporting both rescued horses and the courageous individuals the sanctuary serves.
