FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Conroe, Texas – May 27, 2026 – Henry’s Home, Horse and Human Sanctuary is proud to announce the Texas250 Heroes and Hooves Salute, a black-tie gala honoring Veterans, retired first responders, and their families through equine-assisted programs.
Backed by proven testimonials and empirical data, the Sanctuary’s programs have demonstrated a 40.9% reduction in depressive states and achieved a 99% approval rating across all program facilitation. In addition to serving this heroic community, the organization collaborates with partners such as Project Beacon and Inspirational Hope House to deliver comprehensive life-skill training in ranch management and equine care.
The Texas250 Heroes and Hooves Salute Black Tie Gala will serve as a premier fundraising event to sustain and expand these critical services. Proceeds will directly support increased staffing requirements, sanctuary expansion, and the ongoing care of the Sanctuary’s horses, which are central to the therapeutic experience. This need has become increasingly urgent as the organization has experienced substantial growth, expanding from serving fewer than 50 Veterans in the 2023-24 program year to a projected 1,000 participants in the 2026-27 program year.
The black-tie gala will feature experiences not seen before, creating an elegant evening that unites business leaders, philanthropists, and community supporters in gratitude for those who have served.
